Community Run/Walk
Come out and join Girls on the Run of Puget Sound for a fun-filled community run/walk! This is the graduation 5K for our program participants. The run/walk is open to the community -- women, men, children, leashed pets and all-terrain strollers welcome!
Super Hero Theme
The theme of the Girls on the Run 5K is 'Super Heroes.' If you like to dress up, please do! Show your inner strength with your outerwear! Girls who complete our program find their own inner strength, or super power, that they call upon each and every day. At the Girls on the Run 5K, we view all participants as super heroes.
Route
The route is in Seward Park in southeast Seattle. View the course here.
Timing
The Girls on the Run 5K is non-competitive and will not be timed.
Check-In/Packet Pick Up
Packet Pick Up opens at 8:00am for community members. Running Buddies can do packet pick up at the "Running Buddy Express Check In" at 8:00am.
Program participants should check find their group name and check in with their coaches.
Post-5k Festival
After the 5k there will be family-friendly festival complete with fun games, face painting and activities! People are encouraged to stay after they finish the 5k and celebrate!
Parking
There is limited parking in Seward Park. Street parking is best, but leave time to find a spot.
