Event Information

Community Run/Walk
Come out and join Girls on the Run of Puget Sound for a fun-filled community run/walk! This is the graduation 5K for our spring program participants. The run/walk is open to the community -- women, men, children, leashed pets and all-terrain strollers welcome!

Super Hero Theme
The theme of the Girls on the Run 5K is 'Super Heroes.' If you like to dress up, please do! Show your inner strength with your outerwear! Girls who complete our program find their own inner strength, or super power, that they call upon each and every day. At the Girls on the Run 5K, we view all participants as super heroes.

Route
The route is in Seward Park in southeast Seattle. View the course here.

Timing
The Girls on the Run 5K is non-competitive and will not be timed.

Check-In/Packet Pick Up
Community members and Running Buddies should check in at the Registration Tent where they will pick up their race supplies. Program participants should check in at the Program Tent.

Post-Race Celebration and Raffle
After the race there will be a brief ceremony to recognize our program participants and announce the raffle winners. All participants will be automatically entered into a raffle to win a pair of shoes from New Balance.

Event Registration

*Program participants do not need to register for the event. They are automatically entered.
*Running Buddies are required to register for the event.

Online registration closes 5:00pm on Friday, May 21st.

Registration Levels
All registration levels come with a race t-shirt unless otherwise noted.
Registration (until December 10th): $25
Hero: $40 comes with a cool GOTR temporary tattoo
Super Hero: $50 comes with hero face mask and cool GOTR temporary tattoo

Day-Of Registration
On the day-of the event t-shirt sizes will have limited availability.
Day-of Registration is $30 and will be available from 8:00am - 9:45am. Please arrive by 9:30am to avoid last-minute lines. We strongly encourage cash or check payment for day-of registration.

Group Registration
Invite your friends to join the fun! Teams of 10+ receive $5 off per person and teams of 5+ receive $2 off per person. Just have the team captain create a team name on the registration page then all the team members choose to join that team when they register!

Sleep-In for the Cause!
Not a morning person, but still want to support Girls on the Run of Puget Sound? This option allows you to be a hero in your dreams as your registration fee goes directly to the program. Just register as a participant for the event and sleep in that morning!

Volunteer!

Girls on the Run of Puget Sound will need lots of person-power to pull off a successful event, both on race-day and during the week prior. We would love to have your help!
