"I enrolled my special-needs ADHD foster daughter in Girls on the Run to give her something to do to help her expend all her excess energy. The program exceeded my wildest expectations. For the first time in her life, my daughter has found something she can focus on that is healthy and constructive. She has taken off in a way I never dreamed imaginable. She loves the running and stays focused and motivated throughout the session. She is more self-confident and has made new friends, something she finds very difficult. Her behavior is generally better when she comes home after the program. She even got up early on a Saturday after going to bed very late, to participate in a race, and without complaint!
